Gender inequality
Description: Our students have been collaborating to explore how gender inequality presents/imposes itself in the U.S. and in Morocco, with focus on visual artwork, visual literacy and hip hop culture. Our shared inquiry question is: As female artists have become more active in the visual and musical arts, how have they been received in both Morocco and the U.S.? Can women strike back through arts?

Reduce inequality within and among countries
Description: What factors reproduce wealth and income inequalities in the U.S., and Egypt and how can these factors be mitigated? Secondly, how can we use art–sculpture in this case–to bring attention to wealth and income inequality?
